Amy Underwood, a senior roboticist at Square Robot discusses how the company is using AUVs to revolutionize the above-ground, petrochemical storage tank inspection industry. The presentation covers the development of the company’s robotic platform as well as the logistics and complexities of deploying an AUV to perform non destructive testing (NDT) inspections of the internals of liquid-filled storage tanks.
