The New England UAS and AAM Summit 2024 on Wednesday, October 23, and Thursday, October 24, 2024, is co-hosted by AUVSI New England, MassAutonomy, and NDIA New England. The Summit's comprehensive program brings together government, industry, and academic leaders to provide keynote sessions, speaker presentations, and focused discussions that will provide critical insights into the UAS and AAM in society and business today and in the future. The event also features a STEMFest with local students, PitchFest, an exhibit hall, commercial breaks from industry leaders, and ample networking opportunities.

Why is the BEAVER WORKS SUMMER INSTITUTE (BWSI) unique? We are teaching students technology not yet in textbooks! The MIT Lincoln Laboratory Beaver Works Summer Institute is a rigorous program for talented high school students, features a 4-week long on campus programs for project-based workshop style courses. Some course examples include: Autonomous RACECAR, UAV Racing, and Cognitive Assistant. The program started in 2016 and significantly expanded in subsequent years and offering 13 courses during the Summer of 2023. In addition, BWSI offers Spring (9th and 10th graders) and Fall (10th and 11th grade female students) outreach programs (virtual, 8 Saturdays, 3 hours each( and National Challenges during the school year. BWSI is also assisting other universities and high schools to create similar programs, in the USA and internationally. |

NDIA NEW ENGLAND STEM Connections is an initiative of the NDIA New England Chapter focused on encouraging high school students to explore STEM career opportunities. By participating in the New England UAS and AAM Summit, STEM students will be exposed to Speakers and Members from the USG, Industry, and Academia in the UAS and AAM product space; and provide USG, Industry, and Academia a platform to mentor students interested in STEM. Lastly, STEM students will also be provided the opportunity to showcase and provide briefings to Summit attendees on the UAS projects they are working on in high school. AUVSI New England is pleased to work with NDIA NE on this initiative, enabling local high students to meet and interact with attendees at this year's summit. |
