In this role he oversees multiple agencies and the Homeland Security Grant Process for the state, as well as develops comprehensive antiterrorism and cybersecurity policies. |

As a founding member of BlackBerry Security, Alex has protected mobile, desktop and IoT devices, networks and infrastructure for over a decade. He is a Certified Software Security Lifecycle Professional and has an Honors degree in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo. In 2015, Alex starred on the hit TV show Canada’s Smartest Person, winning his episode with the highest score of the season. |

Chris Poulin is Principal/Director in Booz Allen Hamilton’s Strategic Innovations Group, where he leads the Internet of Things security strategy in Booz Allen’s Dark Labs, as well as dabbles in Machine Intelligence. He joins BAH from IBM, where he lead their X-Force research teams and built the first prototype Watson for cybersecurity. Despite his recent roles in large enterprises, he has an entrepreneurial background, having founded, built, and sold a boutique information security consulting firm, FireTower, Inc., and served as the Chief Security Officer for Q1 Labs, a startup in the Security Intelligence space. Chris started his security career in the U.S. Air Force over 30 years ago, where he managed global networks and developed software for the intelligence community |

James Sproul is Founder and Managing Director of The Sproul Company (TSC) headquartered in Boston’s North End. James has over 25 years of experience working in business development for technology-driven companies in fast-changing, dynamic markets. TSC leads the Rapid Autonomous Mobility Pilot Project (RAMPP), which seeks to address the challenges of urban mobility by sponsoring pilot projects in the field of connected, autonomous vehicles. Working with the city of Boston, TSC is currently organizing a project to establish a teaching curriculum related to autonomous vehicles at the Madison Park Technical High School, providing Boston students with training that could lead them to careers in automation and other exciting technology-driven industries. |
