Unmanned Aerial Systems have the potential to completely change the way companies do business. Ever since Amazon rolled out their idea for Amazon Prime Air, drone research has skyrocketed and the possibilities look endless.
Over the last four years, the New England Chapter of AUVSI (Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International) has hosted Robotica, a conference and trade show which highlights the advancements in the field of robotics and how they will change the way you do business. Robotica is now organized into four quarterly conferences focused on individual sectors of the autonomous vehicle markets.
On June 7th, the chapter will host Robotica UAS Summit, at the Exchange Conference Center in Boston, MA. Full details are available at RoboticaUAS.org
Speakers will share their insight and experiences, and detail the challenges they have faced while either researching these advancements or directly implementing them into their marketplace. This year will include researchers from MIT Lincoln Labs and Northeastern who will discuss their research and also the programs their organizations offer to inform industry and end users. Additional speakers from MassDOT Aeronautics, FAA, The United States Air Force, FEMA, The Volpe Center, and others will be there demonstrating what their companies are doing and what the future of unmanned vehicles will bring to the business world.
In the wake of the recent number of government initiatives intended to enable the rapid growth of the US drone industry, such as the 2012 FAA UAS Test Sites, the 2016 UAS Traffic Management Pilot Program (UTM PP), and the 2017 UAS Integration Pilot Program (IPP), Robotica UAS Summit hopes to provide a clear and concise look at the future of Unmanned Aerial Systems and the realistic effect it could have on your marketplace.
Think these technologies will impact the way you deliver to your customers? Join AUVSI New England at Robotica UAS Summit and learn how to harness the opportunity for yourself.
